Not if it's a lincoln (or delorean). For those of us who appreciate lighter cars, the elise and my old Honda CRX's parking brake would lock the rear wheels. I don't think the delorean setup is particularly nice; I don't get the feeling that it can be fully disengaged and fully engaged with the throw of the e-brake lever. It should slow your car down, though, if applied at speed!! That's half the purpose!
