This thread came from the dark ages. July 28, 2002 is when I started it. I think that Dave Swingle is a nice guy as long as you don't step in his shit. People say that the DOA doesn't like the DML because the DML is diluting and infringing upon the value of the DOA. But then the DML says the same thing about the DMCForum. Too many people want to be king of the hill. That's what the matter is. I agree with Rich's assessment of the DML vs. DMCForum. We are social people who like to have conversations online that would be equivalent to how normal people would talk about their DeLoreans at a car show. But the DML has their moderators hammering us for being off topic, rehashing conversations that are already in the archives, complaining that we have discussed a given topic for too long and they are closing the thread.... does anyone really want to read about that? I digress. It is funny how John Hervey with his new line of parts was pissing so many people off because he wasn't a vendor, per se. People on the DML were complaining that his cheap parts were hurting the business of the "real vendors". But soon afterwards he became accepted as a real vendor, so this makes him okay now. I don't get it. Walt Yahoo!
