Until engine warm. Only responds to drops in manifold vacuum thereafter (acceleration enrichment). That is *IF* CPR plumbed for vacuum. CPR on my new engine has no barbs whatsoever. Am at work so can't cite series. 038 series on my R30 (just bought a never used spare $75 on eBay! Test drove to NJ) only has one barb adjacent to electrical connection. Martin G is correct -- is vacuum enrichment for that series, not a vent. 066 series on DeLo of course uses two barbs in lower casting. I believe barb in upper casting doesn't connect to anything in that series. Or perhaps is a vent as I've been told (don't get me to lyin' -- don't have one). CPR is basically a choke. Limits air sensor plate movement with counter pressure on metering piston.
