Bill, There is a difference between the Lambda version and Non Lambda for the FD. I just had my builder build a Non Lambda version for a turbo delorean out of a Volvo Turbo dist that has top port adjustments. There is more to it on the inside than you think for fuel flow. Unless somebody can explain otherwise, makes sense that removing frequency valve altogether will simply allow upper chambers to flex to maximum size (as if Lambda were metering rich) and stay there. Could then adjust CO2 screw accordingly. May be a metal plate in my R30 distributor too, just without any sort of access to its underside (lower chambers). Am not about to open the thing up to find out. Distributor on my new engine looks just like stock DeLo. Even has port for a frequency valve (you of course have the valve itself -- keep it). If I can block the thing up well enough at home to run on the ground will experiment with de-emissioning and post results. Anybody have an old fuel pump I could borrow?
