Bill, I hope you're not leaving until Wednesday. I desperately need that Lambda module for testing. I know the ECU's never die but this may be that rare case. I noticed my idle drop to the point where the car barely runs, when I step on the pedal it takes a long while for the engine to rev. Big smell of fuel. Engine is flooding. I checked the freq valve and it's no longer buzzing. The circuit is dead. When the engine is running, no power on the freq valve connection. When I jumper 30 & 87B, the valve should buzz, no power. (that's 87B, not 87 for the fuel pump. I've done this before) As people have pointed out, it's a switched ground. The hot lead has power but the ground is not switching. I can manually ground the freq valve and hear it switch once. So, it's like the lambda module is not switching the freq valve ground to make it buzz. I've checked the RPM relay. I removed the cover and watched the contacts close. I jumpered 30 & 87B and that didn't power the valve either. Either the ground wire is broken somewhere or the module is bad. Any other suggestions are welcome. Rich Yahoo!
