The heatshield on the delorean steel products is identical to mine. So it looks like it's made of the V4A stuff then. Ken noticed my water pump was new, and he seemed to think that heat fried the bearings on it, and that's why it had to be replaced. The car's got like 77k SHOWING on the odometer (I know the angle drive has been broken on it at least once) and has been driven every day of it's life, so I'm not surprised it had to be replaced. Bill and I replaced the water pump on my old DeLo at 42k miles. Anyways, thanks for the info guys. -Louie _____________________________________________________________ Pre-order the updated second edition of "DeLorean: Stainless Steel Illusion" now!
