Whew...Ok, looks like I caught my fuel system before it became a total replacement job. After replacing the filter, I cleaned out the tank (again). Cleaned that little pick up screen (the plastic is junk. I'll be glad when my new one gets here). and replaced the pick up hose. After that, I put some gumout fuel injector (concentrate) in the tank. I don't normally believe in these "snake oils" but it did seem to help. The hesitation and loss of power is almost gone, and getting better every day. Hell, I even replaced the rear brake pads today with a minimum of fuss and none of the lugnuts were even seized. Time to put some miles on one of these nice winding roads with all the fall colors...
