Hi Guys I found a set of compressors that are truly superb. They are made by a company called Sykes Pikavant (I think that's how it's spelled). They have single claws, but the claws are sloped so they sit strait on the spring. Also the shaft has a left handed thread at one end, and a right handed thread at the other, so both claws move and you don't end up with having to accommodate a massive pole sticking out one end when it's compressed. It also works a lot faster. They transform the pain-in the ass front spring change to a real breeze. In fact the last time I did a set, I managed to get the new spring so tight that I had to bring the lower control arm UP to hold it in place. The price was about £25 a pair I think. I'm happy to send them out. Martin Samuel wrote: >>I'll find out when I get the springs on.
