First saw Jesse James about a year ago on some motorcyle show. Was moaning and bewailing because wife had just left him. Why in the world would the girl walk out on something like that? Consider the source. Whole premise of show is Testosterone. Do you really think Rich and Don would have been throwing stainless panels around without directions from behind the camera? (when I saw that first thought was "yeah, let's see you try that with a 75 lbs Lincoln fender...) Could tell their heart wasn't into destruction for destruction's sake anyway. Watch it again in rerun -- whole body language is like fish out of water. "Oorah's" are obviously scripted. Personally think they sold out. Monster Garage isn't auto restoration. Isn't carefully thought out or executed experimentation (did they really think the thing would float with all that extraneous steel? Here's a novel concept: build it up with light weight aluminum). Show targets audience that doesn't include average DeLo owner. Simply wasn't our dance. Stop by my driveway sometime if you want to see vintage vehicles treated with a bit more dignity. And I haven't prostituted myself before a camera, yet...
