I personally don't mind the duplicate emails. There aren't a huge amount of them anyways. I'd rather get the information twice than not at all. Plus the fact that messages are delivered instantly in the Forum allows us to get the information ahead of the DML. For instances when cars and stuff come up for sale or something, this could be highly beneficial to those on the Forum. To those who duplicate emails peeve, why not just stop receieving emails from the forum, and read the messages straight from the yahoo website. I thought the purpose of this list was to get away from the restrictions of the DML, and here we go again having someone else wanting to add a rule/regulation that benefits themself. I'm not bitching at anyone or anything, but I like the Forum just the way it is. If we get into do's and don't's with it, we'll end up getting away from the point the list was started for in the first place. That would make the Forum just a carbon copy of the DML, and then posting to it would truly become superfluous. -Louie --- id <ionicdesign@xxxxxxxxxx> wrote: i just DELETE the duplicate emails, it is actually very easy to do. mark timnagin wrote: > >Is there anyone here (on the DMC forum) who is not > >also on the DML?? > > > >I have to assume that even people like Walt, who > >"quit" the DML still monitor and read the list... > > > > > >My point?? > > > >There is no reason to cross-post to both lists!
