I am always curious to see how accurate gauges like that are. I'm glad I checked the pressure gauge I use for adjusting automatic transmissions. It was inaccurate out-of-the-box. If I didn't fix it I would be mis-adjusting transmissions. And BTW, no, I didn't check to see if my compression gauge is accurate. ;-) It's a cheapie one I found still new in the package at a garage sale. I don't put a lot of trust in the o-ring that seals the spark plug hole. Due to the deep plug wells on the PRV, I couldn't do much to tighten the gauge's hose anyway. Walt Yahoo!
