Re: [DMCForum] Plastic

Huh?

I didn't miss you point, though i did (and still do) miss your sarcasm.
You said, "Plastic? There is no such thing, the term refers to a
material's properties. " It was implied to show that he doesn't know
anything about plastic. I don't see anything sarcastic about it. It may
have been sarcasm if indeed there was no such thing as plastic. Then,
you say, "Plastic? There is no such thing!" Then you could gleefully
jaunt about singing, "Eveeeeerything you know is wrong! Black is white,
up is down and short is long". Then at least you have some bit of irony,
plus the callback of a joke that has recently passed.

You want to talke about being wrongly mistrustful of plastic
applications, let's talk about the use of thermoplastics in the fuse
block, which any engineer with half a brain would have made out of
thermosets.

I'm an engineer and I don't "immmediately construe" it as an adjective.
Its more likely that only material engineers (at work) think this. Oh
ya, and you.

"now I know" what? That your comment implied plastic is a noun 0% of the
time, YOUR OWN dictionary said that it is 23% of the time, which makes
you 100% wrong?
