I took the car out for a real test drive last night. I did some good highway driving and some city as well. I've got good acceleration, good speed, and it's much quieter than before. I still have that funky "sweet spot" in the pedal when the engine is up to temperature (which I had before I started screwing around). If I press beyond a certain point I have no acceleration. No one has come up with a reasonable explanation for his, but I think if I tinker with the mixture and bring the idle down to normal it should smooth out. Other than that, I have no complaints.
