I discovered on my car yesterday that there's a stop in the rack for turning right, but the only thing stopping me turning left is the track rod end hitting the anti-roll bar. Wierd. I also have a small amount of play in the rack that's something internal, not caused by the rack itself (no fewer than 3 shims on the adjustment).
