If the studs are conventional (anybody know?), just press bad one(s) out and new ones in. Available in English and metric at most parts houses (Advance and Autozone both sell). I use plain old vise with sockets as the receivers. Good time to replace wheel bearings too (those may be DeLo vendor). Don't forget to lube angle drive while you're down there. Re: vacuum leaks: *NOW* do you believe me? PRV is unlike anything domestic. What *WERE* the French thinking (Volvo's name is on there, but looks Norman to me. If it looks like a Frog and croaks like a Frog, what else could it be). The poor thing sucks so hard on itself I am surprised it doesn't collapse like a black hole. Oh wait, can't collapse while sucking all that outside air. Is your heat engine or exhaust? Can't do much about the engine (how do those cylinders get so hot sitting in a bathtub full of coolant?), but exhaust heat will drop dramatically if you jetison catalytic converter. Compare to manifold temp around starter motor and you'll see what I mean. How's that plastic engine compartment treating you?
