I have been running Marty Maier's shocks (Mid-States DeLorean Club) for 20,000 miles. They fit perfectly with NO alterations. The rears come with an adjustable collar for any height adjustment you might want to make. They are just a tad softer than the stock shocks, but, unless you really are driving the DeLorean like a "super sport" car, they are great. IMHO, the DeLorean was never intended to be a sports car. A GT coupe, yes, but a sports car, No. And, as a GT, it is simply great. I just completted a 3744 mile road trip (two weeks time) with my twin turbo'd '83. Total gas (that's petrol, Martin) was 149.9 US gallons. Now pushing 90,000 miles on this one and I love it.
