The fuel injection system should be fine. I've set the CO screw as I've been told by DMCH & PJ Grady. I've also tried Martin's method which pretty much sets it at the same place. I've tried going in tiny increments each direction without results. The injectors spray beautifully, and at the same time. Who says re-man is bad? I've got great fuel pressure and all-new components. Something is still not right because like I've said, the engine turns very slowly and I have a new starter and battery. There is a restriction or something somewhere. I still intend to check the driver's side valve timing to double-check. Then I'm going to crack open the X-over pipe a bit to see if the exhaust is clogged. I'll crank it over and if it tries to fire thru the exhaust leak, then "bingo". Especially if it turns over easier. --- In DMCForum@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, elvisnocita@xxxx wrote: > yes, absolutely, I bet most cats out there are melted, broken or clogged. > > When I bought my car the PO said he had already replaced the cat. > When I took it off it was so fucked up again, you could hear the pieces > rumble in the exhaust. > > what about your fuel injection ?
