[DMCForum] Melted Catalytic Converter

Was it glowing before the converter or after? Stopped up converter
glows on the uphill side.

Don't know what caused mine to melt, but it happened very suddenly not
far from the house. Y pipe was glowing. Engine could only run first
gear. Limped home but barely made it up the driveway. That weekend
gutted the thing. No problems since.
