AHA - right. Here's my trick to get it to fire the first time. 1) connect the two ends to the right of the ballast resistor together. 2) Turn the adjustment screw all the way to the left 3) Push the metering flap down enough to wedge a washer under the edge, resulting in a gap of 1mm ish - no more. 4) Jump the fuel pump at the rpm relay (brown to white/purple) 5) Pull an injector and adjust the mixture screw till it starts to spray. Remove washer and plug rpm relay back in. 6) With no 1 the way it is, this will give a hotter spark. If it doesn't fire now, just dial in half a turn to the right on each crank till it catches.
