Windoze does as well.  (I see that my intentional misspelling is
contagious,
Jan {evil laugh}).

I disabled this function because I use different C: hard drives depending
on
what I'm doing.  Each hard drive thinks it owns the computer and wants to
change the clock.  If they all do it then my clock gets changed 3 times!
