The reason I ask this biting question it because I also will be removing the head. During the exhaust manifold removal, I pierced the water jacket of the left side head. It left a 3/16" hole and all the coolant spewed forth, the sight of which would make Santa Claus himself vomit with rage. So, I'm gonna take this lemon and make lemonade. She's going into a friend's garage and both heads will be coming off and I'm gonna overhaul the engine for the next few months. Before I do, I want to be armed with as much documentation as I can. Now, this leaves me with 2 more questions: 1. The timing chain tensioner and dummy bearing... where do you find these special tools? 2. Can the hole in the head (the car, not the one on my shoulders) be filled and repaired of will a repair simply create a weak spot? > -----Original Message----- > From: Travis Goodwin [mailto:tgoodwin@xxxxxxxxxxxx] > Sent: Tuesday, July 08, 2003 8:47 AM > To: 'DMCForum@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx' > Subject: [DMCForum] Other workshop manuals > > Has anyone bought a Haynes/Chilton/Bentley manual for the Volvo of the > same > year? > > What were the Volvo models exactly? > > > To unsubscribe from this group, send an email to: > DMCForum-unsubscribe@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > > > > Your use of Yahoo!
