So did you assemble the engine bone dry as you said, or did you coat things with rebuilder's oil (or engine honey or whatever they call it) that you are supposed to coat things with before you put it back together? I would hate to think that you are cranking the engine with no lubrication. Unless it is going to start right away, I would put a teaspoon or two of oil in each cylinder. Did you get everything on the wiring harness hooked up okay? Is the cold start valve firing? Without that it will be very hard to start. Walt Yahoo!
