> I think my battery may be toast too but I can get that when I get oil > and antifreeze. I highly recommend staying away from flooded cell batteries. They leak, the gasses are corrosive and not good for what is in the relay compartment above it, they tend to explode which is not something you want happening in the passenger compartment of your car. And did I mention that they leak? The battery to get? An Optima or whatever variety of gel technology that suits your tastes. If I were buying another Optima, I would consider the deep cycle variety considering that they are making them with a decent cold crank amp rating. Depending on how good your alternator is at low RPM, the car may be deep cycling the battery anyway. > I don't like how the wiring harness fit. It seems snug towards the > back. You may be stretching the wiring harness around the wrong way. There are two styles of harnesses which vary mostly according to VIN. The placement of either is not intuitive. It helps to have an assembled car to compare with. And as for buying anti-freeze, stay away from the orange stuff. It tends to attack lead solder joints. This may not be an issue if you have an OEM aluminum radiator, but unless the manufacture specifies to use the orange stuff then it is better to stay with the green stuff. Walt Yahoo!
