I wouldn't use the stronger stuff on the plastic or fiberglass.  I have
accidentally got that stuff on the trim pieces of other cars I restored
and
it melted almost instantaneously.

I just used some acrylic lacquer thinner and the old paint wiped right off
very easily, but you have to be careful as that can melt the plastic too.
I
guess I had a bad can of stripper as it should have done as much if not
more.
