I totally agree with you that the response to Jims post was extreme. But using your logic in both posts regarding this situation- it's excusable for one person to make an inappropriate comment/post, but for the person who was attacked, they just have to take it, and have no right to respond in kind??? I think the best possible circumstance was overlooked.
