I tried to get some new fuse blocks from the company that produced them. After a few days I got some informations, that the original tools were sent from GB to France where they got lost. This means - if you have a good fuse block or a spare one - they may be worth their weight in gold in a few years... Sometimes it is possible to save the fuse block by replacing some contacts. I got some very good ones from Tyco/AMP which fit 100%. But they have a much higher force to contact the fuses, so there will be less resistance and therefore less heat to melt the fuse block ! Let me know if you need some TACO/AMP numbers to replace those parts. Elvis The only replacement fuse block that I have seen is what John Hervey sells. And for what it is I think it is overpriced. I'm sure he found it in some mail order catalogue and is just marking it up. If you talk to him ask him where my 140 amp alternator is and my FanFix POS. If you have him send anything to you, demand that he do it return receipt with a tracking number. And don't pay him cash even in person unless you get a receipt. And then it wouldn't hurt to get the receipt notarized. I think that the pig tail bypass fuse holders are fine. NAPA sells a really nice one made by Belden part # 784619. And if you know wire and connectors, Belden is top quality. Walt To unsubscribe from this group, send an email to: DMCForum-unsubscribe@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Your use of Yahoo!
