My problem is when I'm in France and want to practice my French, I've got them all trying to practise their English! Just be open to a new culture, Walt, and you'll be greeted with open arms :-) Let it be known, the French have some of the best motorways in the world - forget the crowded aytobahns in Germany. The French roads go on for hundreds of miles with barely 10 cars for company, fantastically smooth, and a very liberal attitude to speeding (90mph open limit on most roads to start with - many people go well over a ton). A few of us DOCers are taking our D's down to the south of France this summer....
