  I did a Google search for the phrase "Alante Vinyl" and "Allante Vinyl".
It
  appears that the Cadillac version is the proper spelling.  It appears to
be
  a brand of vinyl upholstery fabric.

  My need for a stretchable vinyl is to recover the rear speaker enclosure
  panel whatever things.  A heatable/stretchable product could also be
used to
  recover the binnacle & dash.  If the Allante Vinyl product is made for
  sitting on then it probably has a cloth reinforcement on the back that
would
  stop it from stretching.  The stuff I'm looking for wouldn't have any
woven
  fiber in it.  But for lack of anything else the Allante Vinyl might
work.
