Below are the messeges from the current owner of the car. This is the guy selling it on eBay. There are some things in here that contradict what he told me and others. One, he has never owned a Delorean, but below he clearly states that this is a "sad example of the kind of car I pride myself in owning" Well, yes, he did own two for resale and for about 1 month. Not sure he could get much pride in that, but hey. Next he says "its time to move on". Well, move on from what? he didn't work on this car, nor did he even attempt to. Remember he hasn't owned a D for more than a month. In the second email is when he clearly lies about the condition of the car, then reiterates his lie "There are no holes in the quarter pannels unless you count where the lights and windows go. No holes anywhere in the body. Just wanted to make that clear." This sounds like partial truth. There are no holes because, as Greg stated and the pictures prove, the GASH was welded together. When I talked to the man on the phone he even told me about the gash and the welding that took place. This whole things sounds flakey to me. I know the car is actually for sale and that he isn't just trying to steal money and give no product. but the description of this car is false and the actions this man has taken against some of the people who he thanked in the email is a bid rude. So, for those of you who haven't read the emails on the DML, enjoy. I have fielded over 200 emails on the car. The most common question being...how could you let this car get that way? My answer is you will have to ask the fool that let that happen. I love these cars and this being one of three I bought for resale is a sad example of the kind of car I pride myself in owning. Thanks to all of the memebers that have been a huge help to me, Walt, Greg, Erik and others. I sincerely hope someone out there wants to restore this car. It does have a clear clean title and does need a world of help. Don't kill the messanger, it jsut came with the package of DMC's I bought, and it's time to move on. I mean A LOT of help. There are no holes in the quarter pannels unless you count where the lights and windows go. No holes anywhere in the body. Just wanted to make that clear. No harm intended...I know Mike. Thanks Yahoo!
