There are two types of window motors that you could have in the door -- the original or the heavy-duty aftermarket replacement made by Electric Life. The original has many weak spots and has an extremely high failure rate (like greater than 90% according to DMCJoe). So if you have an original and it is broken then you are looking at having to take the door apart. If you are lucky, the problem may just be something as simple as a dirty switch contact which is common to have happen. Without taking the center console too far apart, you can remove the window switches and try swapping them. Walt Yahoo!
