Dick, Yeah, I have every George Carlin album from 1972 to 1996, starting with "Take-Offs and Put-Ons" on LP and ending with "Back in Town" on CD, and I have the remaining HBO specials on tape. I can quote some of his stuff verbatim, although not in public. It's easier to quote Douglas Adams and have people REALLY wonder where that came from. "My, doesn't Grandma look > nice!" The good thing is, since the trend is to wear makeup to whiten the skin and make them look dead, the mortician can save on makeup... but there's a downside. [ring ring] "Gutenberg Mortuary, John speaking." "John? It's Ron upstairs. You're handling Miss Nielsen?" "Yeah, that's right. I had a question about the makeup." "Shoot." "Okay, well, they say something here about 'Goth styling.' I got the black latex dress they gave me but I'm not sure about the hair and makeup." "Oh, well, the hair is supposed to be dyed black and cut very short." "Yeah, okay, it's already like that. What about makeup?" "Make her white, like a vampire. They want her face to look drained. Didn't you see the photograph?" "Yeah, but it was overexposed." "No, it wasn't." "Oh, you mean she looked like that BEFORE she died?" "Yeah." "So in other words, I don't have to do anything to this corpse." "Well, er. ... Yeah, I guess so. Maybe some black eyeliner." "Geez. These people are gonna put me out of business."
