Have you tried a digital camera yet? That could make things easier and much less time consuming. Just a suggestion. I think the best way to make a parts cross-reference list is to integrate it into how-to technical articles. My problem with starting this is that I don't know html well enough to organize it like I want. Otherwise I have hundreds of high quality negatives of parts & procedures waiting to be scanned. I think that after we get a few articles online then more people will see that it is easy to contribute. All it would take is to e-mail some photos with an explanation with each.
