> Walt, did you get your car back together in time? Barely. We (Tom & me) were fashionably late. I was working on it until 5AM that morning and got 2 hours of sleep before spending another few hours getting the dash all back together, half-ass-ly washing the car and then getting to the show. If I looked scruffy, that's why. Up until then I had every last part of the a/c system out, messed with and put back together. And it works better than ever BION (BTW, FWIW, that means "believe it or not") The show was great! 7 (s_e_v_e_n) DeLoreans present! along with a few others who either didn't bring their cars or haven't bought them yet ;-) With the heavy rains on the way home, I was reminded of some old leaks and found a new one -- the hole where the fender mounted antenna lead comes in. Did anyone else find leaks? :-) The exotic car show down town (that we were crashing) was mostly rained out. There were plenty of cool Loti (plural for Lotus) and other unusual cars. There was even a 1955 Gullwing Mercedes. We had fun chatting with the owner. I should have ran back to the car and brought my boat anchor, err I mean camera. We should repeat this show next year. For that Ken & Laura (?) suggested meeting at their place not far from Mount Dora where the annual multi-marque exotic car show is held. But everyone agreed that we should have another show later this year -- perhaps in the fall when the weather is cooler. Anyone want to pick a place and date? Ken, Laura? Such a successful meet on short notice demonstrates how hungry Florida folk are for DeLorean club activity. All of you were great. I only wish we had more time to exchange ideas, etc. Walt To unsubscribe from this group, send an email to: DMCForum-unsubscribe@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Your use of Yahoo!
