If the canadian gallon is smaller, why would it take more liters to fill it? Are your liters smallers too? Actually, I think the imperial gallon is slightly larger than the US gallon. Though I'm still confused, because there's 4 quarts in a gallon, 2 pints in a quart, and 2 cups in a pint. Do the brits not have CUPS? Are are they just bigger!! Plus we have a pleasant conversion between water weight and volume. A pint's a pound. Hmmmm- Does a pint cost $1.60 in the UK? Now we might be getting somewhere...
