Granted, dry ice will produce a fog on its own, but not as much as I would
need. To make your own CO2 fogger you'd have to devise a container that
could submerge the dry ice into warm water to produce its copious amounts
of
gas. I'd have no way to stop the gas and would have water and dry ice
sloshing around over the engine bay. A pre-built unit is too cost
prohibitive.
