Agreed! What he is claiming is that this motor will run on a couple of batteries all the way across the country. Uh-uh. Not possible... unless he borrowed a couple of the 1960's Batman's "Atomic Batteries". There are no storage batteries that I've ever heard of that could provide that type of power... And the picture shows just standard car batteries. As a simple "for instance"... consider how much energy it would take just to lift that thing straight up over the Rockies, which he will have to do in effect by driving over them. Massive amounts of energy that even a full trunk of cells could not provide. Also, notice that he's using a transmission with an electric motor? Why? DC motors of this type have a torque band that eliminates the need for this type of gearing. The clincher for me is the "Research and development complex". Did anyone else notice this is a two-bedroom modular house with a stamped steel cheapo garage next to it? He describes how the place is all run under it's own power... yet note the utility pole in the picture to the far right... A look at the "3,500 square foot headquarters building under construction" shows the for sale sign in the foreground. Buildings built under contract don't have for sale signs... Of course, he never stated it was -their- "3,500 square foot headquarters building under construction". He just says it's -a- "3,500 square foot headquarters building under construction". Reminds me of the old "Fish Carburetor", eh? -Dave -----Original Message----- From: Martin Gutkowski [mailto:webmaster@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Thursday, August 15, 2002 12:29 PM To: DMCForum@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: [DMCForum] electric De Lorean... This is absolute unmitigated bullshit. It's for prising money from gullible people's hands. Basically this guy is claiming he has developed a system which delivers more energy out than you put in. This violates the most principle law of physics....of people. ------------------------ Yahoo!
