Hear hear! Louie has it right. There's no reason to go on and on about
this stuff. Nobody will "win the argument".
Plus, the Puling Award has been retired.

Martin likes small(er) engined cars that revv higher, and use more sophisticated technology to get their HP & torque. Bill grew up in the US around huge engines, Martin thinks a "big" engine is anything over 2.0 liters. You both like more power, just disagree on the best way to go about getting it. It's just a difference of perspective. Neither of you are wrong, neither are right, you both are just coming from totally differenty places and experiences. Let's just leave it at that because I'm frankly getting tired of these "us versus them" threads.

Neither of you have driven or even seen each others cars, so neither of you can make judgement calls on how each others cars should be tuned. The reality is Bill still isn't 100% sure of what the hell he has in his engine compartment (regarding the model), so it's really useless to speculate on how the car should be tuned. Through years of tinkering, Bill has found a medium where he feels his car performs best, as has Martin. Shouldn't that be all that matters?? Let's stop making an issue of it because it wastes everyones time, bandwidth, and you two will never agree. -Louie
