[DMCForum] Last Word to Everyone -- Why Don't Y'all Make Up Your Own HP Definition

I have given you all the classic definition of HP:
HP = Torque x RPM / 5252
This is *NOT* my own calculation. It is James Watt's. It's in the
history books -- look it up.
It is painfully obvious that the restless masses on this Forum
disagree greatly with Mr. Watt. That's cool, but WHY TAKE IT OUT ON
ME? I didn't make up the formula. My error was merely bringing it to
your attention.
Your ignorance was truly bliss. I see that now.
Why don't you all make up your own definition of horsepower. It won't
agree with what the rest of the world uses. It won't be historically
accurate. It probably won't even explain what happens in the real
world. But you all will be happy and that's what really matters.
I am not going to be bloodied and sullied another day for a formula
that I never made up in the first place!
Urp.
