Josh,
Proto sold nearly two years ago at RM Auctions. No DeLorean has sold at B-J
for 100k. There is a lot of misinformation in your friends statement. Only
two DeLorean's have sold in the six figure range, those two were Proto and
502. Today a concourse car, that would qualify for the JZD award is worth
approx $50,000.
I hope this helps.
All the Best,
Ken Baker

Subject: [DMCForum] $100K car
Hello everyone,
It's been about a hundred years since my last post so I'm behind on the
times.
I was in conversation with a friend who is trying to get me to purchase a
Harley, so he is giving me ideas of how I can afford one and my DeLo is on
his hit list. Don't worry, I'm not selling that car.
He was telling me of a DeLo that sold on Barret Jackson for over $100K. I
was trying to figure out what car he was talking about and the only one I
can think of was Proto 1, maybe? What ever happened to P1 after Tony sold
it?
This is kind of useless information but I would like to know if anybody can
help me out, I would appreciate it.
Josh
