I don't know if Toby sells them or not. A local owner bought one from DMCH and had it shipped without incident. When I was at their Open House last year they had plenty. We replaced his fairly easily. If your A-pillar trim wraps around so it is under the glass just be careful when cutting the glass out. One person can do it but two people make it a lot easier. You will get tiny pieces of glass everywhere when you take it out so do yourself, and your passenger, a favor and put tape over the defrost vents before you start the removal. You will also have to pull the weather stripping off that goes around the glass, and the black metal pieces above and to each side. If your weather stripping is original and brittle you will probably destroy it. Make sure you keep the little bent metal pieces that go under the windshield, and the rubber that should be on them intact. The new glass needs to rest on the rubber, not the metal. There is a recommended 3M black sealant but I don't recall the part number. You can get it most anywhere. DON'T use primer on the glass. It's not hard to do at all. You did your clutch so this is cake. Came out to my car this afternoon and my windshield has a big old crack in it, darnit. It's time for a new one. What's the scoop on this? Does anyone actually sell a new windshield? I've read a lot of complaints about the NOS windshields and delamination. Once I find a place to purchase a windshield, I'll have to get it installed. Can any competant windshield shop take care of this, or are there special considerations? Anything specific I should look for, or ask about, when selecting a glass shop to do the work? Is there anything else I should replace or look into while they have the windshield out? -Ryan ------------------------ Yahoo! Groups Sponsor --------------------~--> Yahoo! Groups gets a make over.
