It is not so much a comment.... but one guys way of 'winning' me round. He began to amaze me with his vast knowledge of the car, how many were made and where etc etc etc. After he had said his thanks and left i noticed my partner laughing away nearby... .....She had told him all this info just 5 minutes earlier....Tut! The other day, however a guy came up to my car and asked how it was running, how I liked the VOLVO (yes he knew the engine type) engine, and he commented on how neat the gullwing doors were because they required LESS side clearance to get into the car (he is one of only 3 people in the 3 years I have owned my car to get this right, as most people think the gullwing doors require more side clearance). Any one last thing, the guy commented how he had no doubt that JZD was set up. It was refreshing at last to see someone who got it right about the DeLorean after all the stupid comments I get from people > > -Chris > > Ken Baker <kenbaker1265@...> wrote: I agree! > > I'd rather talk about the car and the accomplishments of its creator rather than defend the cocaine story's that the public really doesn't understand. I also am REALLY tired of the Back to the Future crap. I love my DeLorean because of the car and its creator not some stupid movie! > > Best Regards, > > Ken Baker > Sales Executive > Rolls-Royce/Bentley Fort Lauderdale > 561-866-1601 > www.bentleyfortlauderdale.com > ----- Original Message ----- > From: timnagin > To: DMCForum@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > Sent: Tuesday, September 05, 2006 12:40 AM > Subject: [DMCForum] comments at a car show... > > > Even though I have yet to take my car to a show I find it annoying what some > people say when they walk up to the car or find out I own one.
