I hope that is all it is, they spent an aweful lot of money on that project. Orlando has a lot of room for more rides, but the Hollywood park is little tighter. The ol' time machine is still alive and kicking. Did anyone notice the opening of the Academy Awards where the flying DeLorean soured over Hollywood? They spent 40 million on that ride from what I remember....so I think they should keep it. Any of us who own and drive DeLorean's know exactly how much the movie is still in the public knowledge. There is not a day that goes by in our car's that we don't read "Back To The Future" off the lips of passer by's. I get to ride the BTTF RIDE every day!!!!!! Have you seen my car lately? hee hee hee - VB >From: "Jack Stiefel" <jack@xxxxxxxxx> >Reply-To: DMCForum@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx >To: <dmcforum@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> >Subject: [DMCForum] BTTF ride closure >Date: Thu, 27 Jul 2006 03:47:33 -0400 > >I called US Orlando today and talked to a few contacts in sales and >marketing and hey both said that the closure of the ride is for a major >renovation only, no closure was planned.
