You -can- put 15lbs of boost into a PRV, as long as it has an engine code beginning Z7U, or Z7X-723 <grin> Someone recently reported his results on the Alpine forum. A stock GTA V6 Turbo with slightly modified turbo and a chargecooler in additon to the intercooler, re-mapped with a new ECU rustled up a thumping 333ft-lbs of torque at 3000rpm. That's better than a Venturi Atlantique 300! Power still peaked at 250hp though. The pistons are indeed very different, however the rings are only 0.5mm fatter. http://www.delorean.co.uk/turboarticlepics/pistons.jpg Martin timnagin wrote: > >Put 15 pounds of boost into a PRV and you will end up with with a big > >box of Volvobits cereal that stays very, very crunchy in milk. > > ...and does not contain your recommended daily allowance of iron :) > > Greg > > <mailto:DMCForum-unsubscribe@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=Unsubscribe> > > > [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] Yahoo!
