Hi
I personally dont feel its an 'upgrade' item, only a part that
gets 'over looked' and after 25 years of use finally gives up in a
rather inconvenient style :)
I replaced mine...only 'just because', but im glad i did it was frayed
in a hidden spot, maybe for £3 ( $5 ) its worth doing by all.
Kind Regards
Mike
