[DMCForum] OT New Laptop help!!

Anyone really good with the new processors?  I am looking to et a new laptop
and am having a hard time picking between a P4 HT, Athlon 64, and the
centrino.  I am using an HP with a 3.2 gig p4 ht.  The speed is good, but
the battery life sucks.  Is the Athlon 64 a good replacement, or the
Centrino for battery life?

Man I am confused, I mainly surf the web, email, uselessjunk.com :) and the
like.  I do some DVD./movie authorizing and if I get the right model with 2
drives, will use it for copying DVD's :)

Any opinions?
