Okay, my head has now cooled so hopefully this reply will be a bit more 
balanced!

I do spend a lot of time designing and redesigning all sorts of things - 
such is the curse of the engineering gene. Some have found their way 
into our products and services. Many are just little things like our 
steering colum bushes whch aren't a direct copy of anyone else's. Ditto 
gas struts. Clutch lines made specially for right-hand drive DeLoreans. 
Our fuel hose set...... I'm very proud of our stage 1 performance 
upgrade which makes a DeLorean into a truly quick and fun car for 
relatively little outlay. I've been researching turbo PRVs exhaustively 
for the last year or so and believe that I've got all the "ingredients" 
of a 300hp engine sorted with off-the-shelf parts. I'm building one as 
time and money allow and have amassed a collection of PRVs that make the 
corner of our workshop into a "who's who" of PRV's!.

As far as the LockZilla is concerned, I am led to believe that it is a 
"copy" of the original circuit with bigger relays, some protection and 
an internal manaul-reset circuit breaker. With the exception of the 
circuit breaker, I already DO supply one. I haven't gone to the expense 
of redesigning the PCB and it is every inch a "fix" as opposed to a new 
product, but as I said before, I've had no failures to date and we sell 
upgraded lock modules at ?25. Looking back at the tech section on 
dmcnews.com , with the help of a friend, I reverse-engineered the lock 
module back in October 2001. Not a surprising date being 2 weeks before 
I collected my first DeLorean from Southampton. One of the first jobs I 
did was to reengineer my own lock module, and it's still in there, still 
working perfectly with a remote added on, 15,000 miles and 4 years later.

Perhaps based on what you've read above you might give me a little more 
credit as to experience and not being a "fly-by-night" DeLorean 
specialist. Or perhaps that my "home built inventions" might actually 
have some experience/testing behind them before I go trying to sell them 
to anyone.

Okay, point taken regardng the tank sender. But I guess I'd point out 
that there -is- no alternative. There are alterntives to the FanZilla - 
in my case we supply new original relay bases (including the blue ones), 
eyelet terminal circuit breakers and heavy gauge jumper wires without 
fuses. I have customers with FanZillas and Fan Fixes in roughly equal 
measure and all are happy with their purchases. I've seen several cars 
still running fan fail modules, so let's face it, we all know 
*something* must be done!

IF the Fanzilla were to come back out including the ability to sense an 
open-circuit as well as a short, and was priced more reasonably, I'd 
have no qualms about recomending it. I really like the sequenced 
startup. Not so the way they also sequence off - but this is getting 
into personal preference and bugger all to do with the effectiveness of 
the product, so I'll leave it there
