Wouldn't fire be a simpler alternative to light bulbs? Light bulbs
require all sorts of wire and sockets. All fire needs is something to
burn. And fire continues to burn even when the electricity is taken
away. If you lose the battery in your DeLorean, that's it -- you're in
the dark because your light bulbs are not going to illuminate. People
used fire for illumination for thousands of years. It's a tried & true
technology.
Perhaps I'll replace all my DeLorean light bulbs with little fires.
Then when other owners are complaining on the Forum that their light
bulbs burned out, I'll still be blazing away.
