Whoa, Mike, calm down. There is no need to start name calling.
You've made your point exceedingly clear. You do not wish to associate
with people whom you see as lower class than you, whom you openly call
"trash". (My guess is that the feeling is probably mutual.) Freedom of
Association, of course, is your right.
But since you've put the issue out on the table for debate, I hope you
could clarify a few things with your beliefs
For reference, could you please let us know the income and education
level, under which one becomes "trash"? Are all Southerners "trash", or
just the ones who go to car shows? Or is it just the folks like myself
who really enjoy the 1950's deejays? Is it if you own a 1950's car?
How about a musclecar? Or, is it just anyone who goes to Wal Mart?
Does it relate to the color of one's skin, ethnic background, political
views, sexual orientation, or age?
Also, since you also seem to base 'trash-status' on the condition of
one's DeLorean, does that mean that I was/am trash for buying my car in
the state it was in, and if so, am I still "trash" now? If my car is
nicer than yours, does that make YOU "trash"? Will Rich lose his
"trash" status as the condition of his car rises more to your personal
liking? Does looking down your nose at others make you "trash" (better
answer that one carefully)? Does simply questioning you on any of these
topics make one "trash"?
Also, could you please state YOUR income and education level for
everyone? I'm just interested in judging you, relative to myself, based
on your own criteria - but only if that's okay with you. I'd just hate
for you to think that I was "trash" or something...
Anxiously Awaiting Your Responses,
-Dave

Gee Wiz Rich,
Attending a car show doesn't make you a "thug" or "low life". You admit
that you have a drug problem and you are "high on drugs"

I'm all for the "common man". I'm a hard working, educated, American
citizen. I work hard and I choose not to spend my free time around a
bunch of trash. When did it become "cool" to act like an redneck idiot?
I'm going to not make any hasty decisions of you since I've only met
you twice for a period of 5 minutes each. However, you don't fit the
definition of "common man" by any stretch of the words.
If you would worry about yourself (instead of me & what I have to spend
& my career) you would be a much happier man and be able to really fix
up that Ghetto Sled of a car you consider a DeLorean.
