The Big Three, Big Oil, & governemnts with too much invested in oil 
have made sure these cars were all killed off, and removed form the 
public eye at all costs.

Hopefully a foreign automaker see's the market, brings one to the US 
soon, and then we can watch the big three, (if there are still three in 
business) play catch up again.

Hopefully it'll happen.
