Spike TV over here shows MacGyver in the afternoons - it is a bit
entertaining - now if they would just start doing reruns of the A-Team, that
was the show that I used to watch the most (and anyone remember Punky
Brewester?) . . .don't know if I could handle David Hasselhoff anymore.

Don't know how many of you grew up watching the A-Team, Knightrider and
best of all MacGyver? I hadn't seen MacGyver since the early 90's, but
picked up the complete 1st season on DVD yesterday - 24 episodes on 6
DVD's, and its just as good as I remembered!
The episode I saw last night, MacGyver filed some Magnesium shavings
from a bicycle frame tube, mixed this with rust scraped from old tin
cans, mix in a steel tube, and volia, he has made a blow torch! Also
made a few fertiliser and lighter fluid bombs, and when trapped in a
meat freezer, ran a pipe from a light bulb into the lock mechanism,
melted a piece of ice from the bulb, water runs down pipe into the
lock, refreezes, expands, and shatters the lock - what a genius!
Anyway, I recommend the DVD boxset :0
